Her presentation on Cultural Proficiency in Action delivered insightful information in an easily digestible manner. She uses her lived experience, palpable examples, and evidence based approaches that give parents, caregivers, and professionals tools to foster inclusive and understanding environments for children to thrive. EEOC and Workplace Training:
Workplace Culture, Civil Rights, and Corrective Learning

General awareness training is not always enough.

When an organization is responding to a workplace complaint, investigation, settlement, conciliation agreement, consent decree, documented culture concern, or corrective-action requirement, the educational response must connect directly to the behaviors, leadership responsibilities, organizational conditions, and required outcomes involved.

Dear Mixed Girl® develops customized, evidence-informed workplace learning that helps organizations strengthen understanding, improve supervisory practices, rebuild trust, and reduce the conditions that allow discrimination, harassment, retaliation, exclusion, communication failures, or cultural harm to persist.

Engagements may include:

  • Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation prevention
  • Manager and supervisor responsibility training
  • Respectful workplace expectations
  • Complaint-response and escalation awareness
  • Cultural proficiency and identity-informed leadership
  • Communication, trust, and psychological safety
  • Bias-informed decision-making
  • Accountability following organizational harm
  • Corrective training aligned with approved settlement or conciliation requirements
  • Customized participant materials and leadership tools
  • Train-the-trainer preparation
  • Follow-up learning, evaluation, and implementation support

Programs may be delivered as a single training, a multi-session learning series, a leadership intensive, a train-the-trainer engagement, or a broader organizational-development initiative.

Important Scope Notice

Dear Mixed Girl® provides educational, training, coaching, facilitation, consulting, and organizational-development services. These services do not constitute legal advice, legal representation, an independent workplace investigation, or certification of legal compliance.

When an engagement arises from a legal or regulatory matter, the training scope is developed from the client’s authorized requirements and, when appropriate, in coordination with legal counsel, settlement administrators, human-resources leadership, or other approved organizational representatives.
